Sometimes the best fairytales come with a dose of reality. In Simmons’ “Side Affects: Botox,” we are prompted to question the true nature of happiness and whether our ever-growing obsession with eternal youth brings us any closer to it. Through the choice of motifs and themes, Simmons asks viewers if perhaps the line between the two is as thin as a wrinkle yet to form.
