Simmons has a passionate and critical artistic voice, and while she had always been intrigued by jewelry editorials, she felt that there was “no underlying political or personal message in most [editorial] features.” However when Emily Satloff, founder of the jewelry brand Larkspur & Hawk and long term friend of Simmons, suggested a collaboration, a true partnership and a one-of-a-kind art collection was born.

Simmons created a hand-painted lookbook superimposed with enlarged images of jewelry for Larkspur & Hawk’s first ever product catalog. The playful designs demonstrate how the right jewelry really is “larger than life” and often the most eye-catching component of any woman’s ensemble.
