Traditionally, "Game of Life" assigned genders through the use of blue and pink pegs, limiting players to two predetermined paths. Simmons disrupts this narrative by creating a new game board that represents the unique experiences and challenges faced by women. Through this artistic intervention, she challenges the notion that life comes in pre-packaged ways and exposes the inequalities and complexities that exist in our society.
